PCV / PSV Engineer

Due to a period of growth, a fantastic opportunity is now available for a PSV/PCV Technician in the northeast. At the depot, the team take pride in delivering excellent customer service and are looking for somebody who enjoys working as part of a team.

Engineers are an essential part of our team who ensure that all our vehicles are in a safe and road-worthy condition. We would also be interested in speaking to candidates from the light goods/heavy goods sector. This is an excellent and rewarding job opportunity for a shift technician to join our Washington depot, as a shift technician your role would include maintaining and repairing the company's vehicles to the standards set by DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.)

The Role:

  • The successful candidate must have served a recognised apprenticeship as a PSV Technician and hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • You must hold a full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a testing environment due to the quick turn around in coaches
  • Servicing and Repairs
  • Continuous Improvement of Vehicle Standards
  • MOT Preparation
  • Vehicle Fault Diagnosis
  • Working Hours Backshift - Must Be Flexible

    Salary negotiable depending on experience.

    Shifts are 8 hour days, we would consider 3,4 or 5 day weeks for the right person.

    • Room Attendant - The Caledonian Torbay Hotel

    Permanent, Full-time

    We are looking for exceptional people to join us at the Caledonian Torbay Hotel. An exciting vacancy has become available to join our friendly team at our newly acquired hotel in the beautiful Torquay.

    This is a busy role in a fast-paced environment, we require assistance with cleaning rooms to company standards including changing bed linen, cleaning bathrooms and hoovering. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality.

    Shift patterns can vary depending on departure times, shifts are usually from 9:00am-3pm and will be on a rota basis covering 7 days a week to ensure we can continue to provide our guests with exceptional service. We can offer a contract of 30-40hrs per week to suit the right person.

    Our hotel is located in an incredible location, we are located within walking distance to the beach and only 250m from a beautiful marina!
