Many people visit Weston-super-Mare to spend time relaxing on its sandy beach, one of the longest in the UK, and popular with walkers. The resort offers some of the finest coastal walkings, allowing visitors to take in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds the town.
Take a leisurely stroll along the seafront and head to the Grand Pier, an iconic landmark on the southwest coast. Today, this impressive pier is an indoor theme park packed with amusements and rides. Sample some traditional fish and chips or delicious ice cream, whilst taking in amazing panoramic views. Within this charming seaside town, you’ll find a great variety of shopping opportunities, such as The Sovereign, an indoor shopping mall just opposite the Grand Pier. There are also many museums and galleries, including the Weston Museum where you can discover the interesting history of the town.
