Beautiful Jersey Summer Spectacular at the Mayfair

Steeped in history Jersey is the ideal place to enjoy a break, its compact size and fantastic bus service make it easy to make the most of everything the island has to offer. Howard Park in St Helier, has beautiful floral displays and the war cemetery is a serene place for contemplation, wander along to Liberation Square where the celebrations took place at the end of the Second World War and there is now a monument in recognition of this important day, the Jersey War Tunnels are the ideal place to discover more about this harsh time on the island. Visit the Fisherman’s Chapel in St Brelade Bay, built in 14th Century, this small church overlooks the award winning sandy beach, relax and enjoy afternoon tea at one of the many hotels. The amazing views at the Devil’s Hole make it worth the steep walk, you may be  lucky enough to see the puffins the island is known for, or even some of the local dolphins. Jersey Zoo which was founded by Gerald Durrell, the author of ‘My Family and Other Animals’, is a delightful way to spend the day, with the emphasis on conservation the animals habitats are in keeping with their natural environments. Jersey also has its share of castles, Elizabeth Castle can only be reached by foot at certain times of the day and Mont Orgueil Castle has stunning views over Gorey, both have seen their share of conflict. Included in the trip is a full day tour of the island to enable you to experience many of the delights that it has to offer.

St Helier
Located on St Aubin’s Bay, St Helier is Jersey’s lively capital, a joy to visit with its cosmopolitan atmosphere. The resort is the ideal base from which to explore the whole island.

Island Coastal Tour
Forming 48 miles of breath-taking scenery, the coastline of Jersey offers varied and spectacular vistas. The north coast is the most dramatic part of the Island with towering, heather clad cliffs that shelter hidden coves while the magnificent wild expanse of St Ouen’s Bay and the sand dunes dominate the west. By contrast the golden sandy stretches of the south are a beach lover’s paradise and rocky inlets of the east are lapped with calm water and peppered with ancient castles and towers. Departing from the hotel the all day tour includes St Aubin’s Bay, St Brelade’s Bay, Corbiere Lighthouse, St Ouen’s Bay and Greve de Lecq Bay. We then continue along the northern coastline, St Catherine’s Bay, Gorey Harbour and the east coast incorporating La Rocque Harbour.

Mayfair Hotel, St Helier
A comfortable, friendly hotel ideally situated within the resort of St Heilier. The Mayfair Hotel has a great location and is just a ten minute walk from the nearest beach. Featuring excellent leisure facilities including an inside swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gym, along with an outside roof terrace for enjoying the fantastic summer days.

*Please note on our return journey dinner will be provided on the ferry and not at our overnight accommodation. 

A passport is not required for our trip to Jersey, however some other form of photographic ID is required for example - full new style photographic driving licence, Citizen Card, Student ID Card, Disabled Badge, or Armed Forces ID Card. A passport is only required if you intend to travel to France (Not Included).

We require full names and dates of birth for all passengers travelling.

Your Caledonian coach will not travel on our crossing to Jersey. All passengers are required to check in their luggage at the port and join the ship as foot passengers. On arrival passengers must collect luggage and proceed through customs to the arrivals hall, where you will be greeted by a local representative and coach transfer to your accommodation. (15kg luggage allowance)
