Falls of Shin
The River Shin is one of the greatest Salmon Rivers in Scotland, where Atlantic Salmon leap and ﬁght against the thundering waterfall’s current to return to their place of birth. The Falls of Shin visitor attraction is favoured for being one of the best places to view salmon leaping upstream.
Enjoy a visit to John O’Groats, the most northerly corner of mainland Scotland and the British Isles. Discover the fine panoramic views of the Pentland Firth, the islands of Stroma and maybe even a glimpse of a Seal. A wonderful excursion filled with beauty – don’t forget your camera!
Gairloch & Loch Maree
Wester Ross in the North West Highlands is renowned for its scenic charms and picturesque villages, journey with us as we discover the delights of Gairloch and the stunning natural beauty of Loch Maree.
DAY ONE: Depart Glasgow and travel north to Dornoch where we spend three nights.
DAY TWO: Today we enjoy an inclusive excursion to Inverness followed by a visit to Culloden.
DAY THREE: Journey with us as we visit the Falls of Shin Visitor Attraction in hope of seeing the famous salmon leaping.
DAY FOUR: We depart our base in Dornoch and head to our accommodation in Ullapool stopping en-route at John O’Groats.
DAY FIVE: Day at leisure to explore Ullapool.
DAY SIX: Today we enjoy an inclusive excursion to Gairloch followed by a visit to Loch Maree.
DAY SEVEN: Depart hotel and travel south to return home.
